HERE IS WHAT SANNA SAID ABOUT HER PROCESS....
I am usually a one to max. two photo per layout girl. I hardly ever use more on one page. However, when it comes to vacation photos, I like to add more on the same page to really document various events from that particular vacation.

This is why I used a grid as a base for my page. This way I can fit at least 6 photos on one page.
and even if I only scrap say 1/3 of them, I really need a solution like this otherwise I will end up with more than one album per vacation.

So here is what I did...
I first printed several patterned paper designs from the Sweet Thing Digital Kit with my Epson (A3) printer and chose the ones I thought matched the photos the best.

Next I printed the photos with my Canon Selphy photo printer. The photos are all printed in the same size. That made it easy to arrange them onto the page. The only thing I needed to do after arranging the photos was to cut suitable sized pieces of various patterned papers from the kit and glue them down next to the photos. Next I just took a black pen and drew some outlining around the rectangles. That way the papers stand out more from the background.

I also added some outlining along the cream cardstock too, just to combine all elements together. I like to use black as a contrast color on my scrapbook pages (and cards). After I was all done with outlining, I fussy cut some element pieces (for example the ice cream cone, the muffin and some dymo sayings) and glued them in place.

Finally I added the finishing touches including the title, some puffy stickers and wood veneer from my stash as additional embellishing and wrote the journaling. And if you know me, you know, that I cannot live without black Glimmer Glaze. You can find droplets of it on almost every artwork I make – no exception here either... :)

I hope you have enjoyed this little background info on why and how I created this page. I love using Em´s digi kit designs and creating hybrid layouts and card with them!!! This is one gorgeous kit (as they all are!) and creating with it was so much fun! I hope you will give this kit a try and go hybrid!!!

Thank you so much Sanna. What a fun insight into your process, you always create such cool hybrid pages. If your here reading this insight into Sanna's creative mind I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
Have fun scrappin' and remember to...
