TOOL KITS READY TO GRAB & A SNEAK PEEK!

If you scrapbook like me trying to emulate a realistic look is part of the fun and challenge of digital scrapbooking. I am big on creating and using effects in my projects that give a sense of realism and try to add a couple of these touches to my pages to take them to the next level. So I thought why not create some 'nifty' toolkits that you can easily use to create these same effects.

 A Tad Torn Vol.2 Clipping Masks and the Make It Stay Fasteners Pack are the perfect addition to your digi stash and could easily become your 'go to' toolkits for all your digital projects.

The Tad Torn V.2 Paper Clipping Masks is a set of fully customisable torn paper templates. Simply clip a patterned paper to the clipping mask layer or fill it with colour using the paint brush tool to co-ordinate with your project. As an added extra some of the templates include a layer of texture which can be turned ON/OFF giving you even more options depending on the look you wish to achieve.

Make It Stay Fasteners Pack is a comprehensive set of fasteners. The pack includes some layered files so you can customise them to suit your needs. There are even some realistic shadowing on a select few items for added realism. NB: All these come as templates and/or png files and are not coloured as seen on the preview.

As promised here is a sneek peak of next weeks major kit release. SOME NIFTY PACKS READY TO PLAY WITH!

It's that time again...another fantastic release of 'nifty' packs to add to your digital scrapbook stash.

This weeks releases include another cool Page Drafts Template pack called 'Passport to the World'. These templates look at using passport size photos in your projects. We all have a stash of photos sometimes a ridiculous amount from the same day or event now you can use as many as you like simply by reducing their size to a smaller more manageable proportion. 

The other packs include 'Light Fantastic Photo Clipping Masks' and are perfect for those of you that love a milky effect and a touch of bokeh added to your photo. Each clipping mask includes a shadow which you can turn ON/OFF.  Last but not least we have 2 texture/paint packs, 'A Little Shabby Brush & Stamp Set' and 'SplatterificV.1 Paint Textures', these will be perfect for adding some texture and can be easily recoloured to suit your project at hand!

GET READY FOR SOME SLEUTHING CASEFILE #157 IS NOW OPEN

Are you a 'selfie' snapping addict? I have to be honest its not something I am too keen on but if I want a reasonable photo then taking a selfie is how I roll, no double chin, no half closed eyes and just the right angle to make me look that little less on the rubenesque side, hehehe.

This months Major Casefile #157 over at C.S.I is now live and runs until the 31st march 2015. Its all about showcasing those selfies and adding a touch of your own hand drawn doodling to really get your grey matter fired up! The testimony (journaling) is slightly a little left of center. There are some great website links for journaling ideas like Six Word Memoirs & Patrick Phillips Saturday 6 series of prompts. So.... go on, showcase those 50,000 selfies you have and have fun scrapping a page about YOU for a change!

This weeks 'PAGE DRAFTS' digital template pack is now available....YAY! This one is a fantastic pack. 'Story Telling Vol.1' includes 5 gorgeous templates. Each one designed to create a minimal page with lots of punch. The tight groupings and stacked layers are perfect for using multiple papers and plenty of elements to really add some flair. We decided to look at some journaling ideas too and suggest some different ways to tell your story whether it be through using quotes, a strong bold title, simply journal it or take people on a visual journey through a series of photos.
