I first created the background using a patterned paper from the Who Lives Here | Collection then added some textures from Gesso Goodness V.2 and digital stamps from Makin' Marks V.3 layering the textures and stamps to create a grungy inked look using the digital products. I then printed the paper. I trimmed and mounted the printed paper on some black cardstock to add a contrasting edge as a border. I then stamped some geo shapes in an offset way to create some movement down the page.
I dressed the  page with some contrasting black, white and gold ink splats before adding the digital fussy cut elements I had previously printed off. When the ink was dry I added some coordinating puffy stickers, hand coloured lace using pink ink, a ribbon, chipboard stars and a 'Scan 'n' Cut' Word all from my stash. I layered and adhered the two photos of me, one in B&W the other in a contrasting colour to the top quadrant of the page to add some visual flair and finally I added some hand journaling, doodled a few hearts and stamped the date in black to add a personal touch.
The fun part about creating hybrid pages is layering the digital bits and pieces onto the background and then printing the paper. It is so easy to then just add the photos and a few coordinating embellishments, painterly details and journaling to really make the page your own.
So there you have it, an easy step-by-step tutorial showcasing several Nifty Pixel packs. Creating hybrid projects is really easy and gives you more bang for your buck. Buy digital and create endless pages/projects from the one Collection, kit or pack. With just a little know how around photoshop or any other photo editing program you are well on your way to creating some awesome hybrid projects.
