Wow what a week iNSD was! I hope everyone had a great time shopping and playing in the forums. I hosted a fun template challenge over at Sweet Shoppe Designs and so many lovely pages were subbed. The random winner was announced in the forum so be sure to check that out. Thank you to everyone that joined in it was tonnes of fun and so cool seeing your incredible pages in the Nifty Pixel gallery. In fact there was a whopping 160 new pages shared in The Nifty gallery from the start of the iNSD sneak peek day through the entire iNSD weekend! I know hey, what an incredible showing, just mind blowing and so humbling to see the gallery burst with so many stunning creations, so thank you again everyone!
This week has been another hectic one at home. We are about to commence our renovation and extension on our little humble abode so its been a week of meetings and organising the final consultations for exterior/interior colours. We have an appointment next week finalising designs for the kitchen and bathrooms design and squaring off the design details for all our cabinetry in the lounge room and bedrooms. To say its exciting is an understatement we just can’t wait for this to all happen. Its been in the planning since my cancer diagnosis and to finally after 2.5 years to have a build schedule set in concrete is such a relief and will be a huge but much needed change for me and my family. Stay tuned I’ll share some of the progress in future posts.
But hey, I’m here not to talk about all that I’m here to share with you this weeks exciting CU releases. I decided I should package up a tonne of products I had been working on the last few weeks. That means I have 9 new packs to share with you all...OMG. So let’s have a look.
First up I have a pack of well worn and aged papers called CU EPHEMERA | OLD PAPER, a set of brass decorative key charms called CU REALISTIC ELEMENTS | KEYS V.1 and a set of 5 CU TRANSPARENT OVERLAYS | NEWSPRINT V.1 perfect for creating some vintage inspired papers or textures. I also have a third set of delicious CU TEXTURED OVERLAYS | PAINT FUSIONS V.3 created in the nifty mark making factory, hehe! I have a gorgeous collection of CU REALISTIC ELEMENTS | BUTTONS V.9 which I found in my Auntie’s house tucked away in an old Arnott’s tin. There is a fun set of CU EPHEMERA | RECEIPTS & STUBS which consists of a motley crew of old tickets and other event paraphernalia. A set of 5 vintage luggage and parcel tags called CU REALISTIC ELEMENTS | TAGS V.1. This is the first of many tag packs coming your way soon as I have been collecting tags for such a long time I think its time to start photographing and extracting them for your nifty stash. I am re-releasing an old set of CU PATTERN OVERLAYS | MOROCCAN SCREENS, these are such a pretty set inspired by the beautiful interior textures and woodworking found in Morocco. And last but not least a second set of CU REALISTIC ELEMENTS | SPRIGS V.2. A little pack of leaf sprigs and twigs I have harvested from my garden.
