STAMPED ALPHA MASH UP AND ARTSY GOODNESS!

This weeks release of Nifty Packs are a mixed bag of fun and perfect for a spot of art journaling or mixed media style scrapping!  I love a versatile alpha so I thought it would be fun to collate a second set of delicious STAMPED LETTER MASH UP V.2 | Alphabet These also came about because they have been requested a few times from customers who loved the first set of stamped and stencilled alphas. This bold mixed alpha pack is ideal for creating eye catching title work or for getting really ceative like some of the nifty gals and use them to create a nifty embossed background.

Because I love to create some cool background textures in my personal pages I decided do a simple set of stencils or clipping masks called GEOMETRIC STENCILS in bold geo patterns. They perfect for creating some cool stamped, clipped or masked backgrounds the possibilities are endless with this pack we even tried using them to emboss our backgrounds.

And lastly my MAKIN’ MARKS V.5 | Mixed Media Brush & Stamp Set. These are from my own personal art jounral using some fun nib tipped pens I found at IKEA of all places! Make sure to rummage through the kids art department hehe

NIFTY PACKS ALMOST ANGELIC!

This weeks release of Nifty Packs are a little bit of fun if I can say so myself!

I'm a huge fan of showcasing our photos in a unique way and even though the tried, true and tested types of framing with polaroids or standard frames are great, I thought it would be fun to use some photographers proofs that are quite graphic with large number sequences and ruled measures and convert them into grungy clipping masks. These would be great for all scrapping styles and worth having a play.

I'm also starting to think Christmas and whilst this pack of acetate wings could be used for any theme I loved the idea of creating a pack to really add whimsy and oodles of dimension to your projects. Arent they just too cool! Their transparent quality allows you to really get creative and they won't block out any layers of elements underneath!

GRUNGE IT UP V.2 | Photo Clipping Masks are a creative way to mount or rather showcase those happy snaps of yours. I'm a fan of coming up with different ways to showcase our photography and this set of photographers proof mounts are just the ticket for laying down those shots in a creative bold way. The pack includes 6 different frames. Use the psd files and clip your photo in the solid section or combine the psd to form one layer and clip your photo right across the mount. So many ways to use these it really comes down to having fun with them.

Our second pack this month is WINGED V.1 | Acetate Accents. Yep aren't they the gas! I love a touch of whimsy and these will definitely add a theatrical element to your pages. Perfect for pages dedicated to those dear to us that have passed, ethereal themes or like the nifty gals have done by using them to portray angelic qualities in our loved ones. The pack includes shadowed versions of the wing sets + a brush & stamp set so you can tap into those god given creative talents.

NIFTY PACKS GALORE!

This weeks release of Nifty Packs are some of my favourites. There are 4 in total each are a customer or Nifty CT request. I love to make nifty packs, they are tonnes of fun so if you have any special requests send me an email or pm me on the Nifty Facebook fan page I'll try my best to put together a pack for you. So lets have a closer look at this weeks nifty packs...

Check out WOODY | Alpha our latest layerable/stackable alpha. This one takes me back to my art school days in the Printmaking department. I loved linocuts, monographs and woodblock printing so this one sings to my heart!

RECYCLE IT V.1 | Cardboard was a request from one of the Nifty Gals. We love to recyle and upcycle at The Nifty Pixel, thats how we roll...we're nifty peeps and this pack of deliciously torn edged cardboard pieces is exactly what an environmently aware gal would swoon over.

BLING IT UP V.1 | Sequin is simply put... a hot mess of sparkle with just a touch of paint. These little beauties were destined to dress up a star wand for my son. Unfortunately, said 5 year old decided to pick them off deeming them defunct. On closer inspection I decided these less than perfect  bits with traces of paint on them were too pretty to discard and busy extracting them!

Lastly, TAPE IT UP V.3 | Masking Tape is that go to pack of tape we all know are a staple in any digi scrappers stash. They might be plain but they are the glue that binds and well simply the best elements anchor on the planet.

NIFTY PACKS | BUTTERFLIES AND MAKIN' MARKS!

This weeks release of Nifty Packs is all about butterflies and making some marks!  We have a pack of deliciously bright and bold butterflies that include some shadowed versions to make your scrappy time even more savvy, these are called FLUTTER BY V.1 | BUTTERFLIES. Each butterfly is unique in shape and colour but are easily recoloured to suit your project at hand. We also have a whopping mega brush set of over 30 different and brush tips all extracted from my art journal. This set is the 4th in our series of MAKIN' MARKS V.4 | BRUSH & STAMP SET. Pair both of these together and you'll be making some gorgeous artsy style digital projects!
