DIGISCRAP PARADE | I WILL SURVIVE

Hi everyone, welcome to The Nifty Pixel, its so awesome to have you stop by!

It's been a couple of months since our last hop so I am very excited for 2021’s first DSP hop. How pretty is this palette?! I just love the versatility of this months theme too. It’s perfect for capturing lifes ups and downs in these tricky times or experiencing grief and loss and of course ideal for anyone on a journey of self discovery. For me its all about healing from my cancer treatment. Its been a long process but I am feeling energised and happy, yay to life right! hehe But you know what, whatever your journey this hop has you covered, I promise!

So here is my portion. I decided to go with Metamorphosis as my inspiration. How with gentle consideration we can achieve great things and that out of adversity comes growth and remarkable beauty, much like a Butterfly. The Nifty Gals created stunning pages with the mini, some sharing their innermost experiences which is so heart felt. I truly find each of these women and their artwork inspiring and hope you do to.

DIGI SCRAP PARADE | CAPTURE THE JOURNEY

It's been a long time between hops for me so I am very excited to be participating this month. How pretty is this palette, right?! I just love the versatility of this months theme too. So here is my portion. I decided to do an artsy grungy style bold alpha and added in a set of slightly grungy solids. It totally needed a few elements to beef it up a bit too. Then I thought hey why not set a challenge for my team and see what interesting pages they could create with this mini! They rose to the challenge, I totally think they did an awesome job showcasing the alpha like they have!

I had so much fun creating my lil' vignette impressions for the DSParade, that I kept on creating! I know right cray cray! I really do love the theme and palette so I had to keep going and make a full collection!

'Commencement' marks the end of an exciting era. A time of personal growth and discovery. It's when you or your kids find a place in the grand scheme of things. It's when we/they have gained knowledge and learn't to stand on your/their own two feet. It's also a massive step forward signifying the beginning of a really big adventure embarking on a new and exciting career path. I loved University and even to this day cherish both the challenges and achievements equally! I really hope this fun quirky lil' collection will help you capture some of those fun memories.
